My daughter, even at two, would sit still for stories. Shlokas. Ganesha. Hanuman. Krishna. She'd go quiet for them the way she wouldn't for anything else. And I — twelve years as a product designer — had nothing tangible to give her. For one of the oldest civilisations on earth, with characters and stories deeper than anything any studio has ever created, a two-year-old had no way to play through them. Just flashcards. Soft toys.
